Antonio Affanni received the M. S. in Electronic engineering from University of Parma, Parma, Italy in 2003. In 2007 he got the Ph. D. degree in Information Technologies from the same University. Since 2009 he joined the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering department at University of Udine, Udine, Italy. His scientific interests are in the fields of wearable sensors, industrial sensors and lab-on-chip.

Prof. Roberto Rinaldo, PhD

Roberto Rinaldo obtained the "Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica" degree in 1987 from the University of Padova, Italy. From 1990 to 1992, he was with the University of California at Berkeley (US), where he received the MS degree in 1992. He received the Doctorate degree in "Ingegneria Elettronica e dell'Informazione" from the University of Padova in 1992. In 1998 he moved to the University of Udine, where he is now a professor of Telecommunications in the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture. His interests are in the field of multidimensional signal processing, video and image coding, biophysical signal processing.


Dr. Pamela Zontone, PhD

Pamela Zontone earned a Laurea in Electronic Engineering from the University of Udine in 2004, and a PhD in Information and Industrial Engineering from the University of Udine in 2008. From 2009 to 2011, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, University of Trento, working on the LivingKnowledge European project. In 2017, she joined the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Udine. Her research interests include multidimensional signal processing, biophysical signal processing and machine learning.
